Red Hill Elementary School is located on the island of Oahu in Honolulu, HI and serves students from Aliamanu Military Reservation, Red Hill Makai and Moanalua Hillside Apartments.
The school has celebrated 50 years of service to the children of Hawaii. The school serves approximately 420 students, 70% of whom are military dependents.
Support groups include our Parent-Teacher-Student Association, Student Council, and School Community Council. Red Hill Elementary School also enjoys a military partnership through our PTSA.
Our school colors are red, white and blue. We are known as the Red Hill Raiders. Student recognition assemblies (Raiders of the Quarter) are held on a quarterly basis. As a Tribes Learning Community school, we focus on the whole child. We have a dedicated staff that works on a beautiful campus with an incredible view of Honolulu.
Extracurricular activities include Student Council, Campus Patrol Officers, and a Track team. Incorporating technology in our school and curriculum is a major focus as our students are 21st-century learners. We strive to achieve 21st-century educational excellence for all of our students. Red Hill Elementary was selected as a 2014 Blue Ribbon School in the area of closing the achievement gap.

As a Grade 3 Teacher at Red Hill Elementary, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children during their crucial early years of development. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in all areas, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domain
- Create a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.
- Provide differentiated instruction and individualized support to meet the diverse needs and abilities of each child in the classroom.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, and maintain open communication to support continuity of care and learning between home and school.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and resources to engage children in hands-on, experiential learning experiences that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
- Implement positive behavior guidance techniques and promote social-emotional skills development through modeling, coaching, and reinforcement.
- Assess children's progress and development using informal observations, formal assessments, and portfolio documentation, and use data to inform instructional planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to support their involvement in their child's education, provide regular updates on their child's progress, and offer resources and strategies for extending learning at home.
