Summary
We are looking for an experienced financial professional to join our company as an Accounting/Human Resources Specialist. As part of our team, you will manage all company ledgers, process payroll, reconcile invoices, and process accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will assist leadership with reporting and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will assist management with Human Resource tasks such as new hire paperwork, new employee set up in the payroll system, and other HR duties as needed. Our ideal candidate has several years of prior bookkeeping experience, knowledge of QuickBooks software and some experience with human resource functions. You also need communication skills to explain financial concepts to other employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process payroll
- Help Entity GMs get new employee paperwork, make sure it is completed properly, and file
- Set up new employees in payroll system
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
- Process and file mail
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior experience with accounting or bookkeeping
- Prior experience with Quickbooks Online
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- Comfortable with technology (Google Drive, Sharefile systems, Adobe, scanning)
- Comfortable in a dynamic and flexible work environment, proactive
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
