Remote Role with travel Ideally you will be Located in Atlanta, Georgia to work in a hybrid schedule
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the solar industry and project development, covering aspects from real estate and interconnection to local permitting. A proven track record of successfully taking solar projects from land control through development to construction handoff is essential.
The Senior PDM will be responsible for advising and guiding their team through complex zoning cases and interconnection processes. Prior experience in project development is a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage direct reports and dotted-line SMEs to ensure progress toward and achievement of the completion of development / NTP.
- Project Budget development and management.
- Manage consultants within approved project budgets, scope, and schedule.
- Offer expertise and guidance on solar development to internal team members.
- Coordinate effectively between internal and external interconnection teams.
- Coordinate effectively between internal and external environmental diligence teams.
- Coordinate effectively between internal and external zoning and permitting teams.
- Oversee the preparation of zoning applications, including local tax modeling and community outreach.
- Identify, negotiate with, onboard, and manage development consultants.
- Engage with landowners and community stakeholders before and during permitting to foster positive, long-term relationships with host communities.
- Provide management with updates on project budgets, progress, and timelines.
- Lead, assist, and train direct reports in zoning discussions and negotiations.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved throughout the development process, including the collection, organization, and presentation of relevant data to management for assessing development risks at various stages.
- Collaborate across departments to maintain clear communication and smooth project development processes.
- Travel to project sites and attend stakeholder meetings as necessary.

- Willing to travel up to 40% to support position responsibilities.
