Closing Responsibilities:
* Ensuring dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, stored, and organized at all times.
* · Breakdown cardboard boxes and take out trash daily. Spent oil when needed.
* Frying Food to Order Through Closing Hours; inbetween closing cleaning tasks.
* Complete Weekly and Monthly Cleaning Tasks to prevent buildup of dust and debris.
* Ensuring that the kitchen is shut down properly ever single day. Checking fryers, lights, and locks for safety standards and that trash and sink are disposed of any food products.
The Kitchen Closer will work with other closers to complete the cleaning for the end of day and ensure sanitation standards throughout the shift. Upon arrival, you will work briefly on boudin and/or sausage needs for the day. Once those needs are met, you will begin with dishes and the cleaning tasks assigned for the day. Once completed, you will convert to a floater position, handing off dishes to another closer and taking over the fryers while the position worker takes lunch and you are cleaning for closing. Will meet with the manager or kitchen manager for daily tasks and delegate between closers to help meet the standards that help keep our kitchen safe and operating effectively for our customers.
