Immediate opening:
Small, growing, 25 year old Medina County based service organization is seeking an Office Assistant to help in running a small office. Candidate will be responsible for various data entry and small office functions. Candidate will report directly to the Office manager on a daily basis. (and occasionally to the Company owner.)
MUST BE DEPENDABLE – This is a small office and someone else will have to do your work if you are not there.
Part-time position, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Mon-Fri (somewhat flexible)
Possibly work into more hours/duties if desired
The primary duties:
- Extensive excel spreadsheet maintenance
- Data entry into QuickBooks
The additional duties may include:
- Composing letters/email
- Answering phones
- Talking to customers
- Interfacing with suppliers, telcos, vendors, etc.
- Dispatch of service work
- Phone/tech support of outside service personnel
- Shipping packages
- General office duties/record-keeping
- Ordering supplies, cleaning office, making coffee, etc
The successful candidate should possess:
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Computing/keyboarding/10 key proficiency
- Precision and accuracy
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting processes
- QuickBooks accounting software. Prefer at least 2 yr work experience with Quickbooks
- Ability to take direction
- Dependability
- Excellent phone skills/pleasant phone manner
- Good, cooperative manner
- Criminal background/drug test required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
