This is a temporary summer position. It may be part-time or full time depending upon the needs of the agency. To be eligible, applicants must be: currently enrolled, or planning to enroll, in college courses for the Fall semester; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
POSITION PURPOSE:
MLIH offers summer students relevant experience in a primary care, behavioral health and substance use treatment setting. The Summer Intern completes tasks as assigned and ask questions to improve their knowledge of the field. This position will complete responsibilities that contribute to the agency’s overall workflow and help prepare the student for work after graduation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Fulfils tasks assigned by a supervisor

Performs clerical duties, including but not limited to: filing, scanning, answering telephones, etc.

Performs job shadowing

Learns technical skills related to the industry

Performs other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor
