Job Description
The Privacy & Cyber Attorney Expert provides legal advice and counsel for a broad range of businesses and moderately complex/moderately sensitive issues. The employee in this job focuses on executing strategies within the department, discipline, or team, and supports matters across the enterprise relating to technology, cybersecurity, privacy, commercial, risk management, data management, international, and/or intellectual property. As a leader, the employee in this job provides direction and guidance to direct reports, and selects, leads, counsels and motivates team members.
- Understand interaction in regulated environments between business, policy, compliance, legislative and legal frameworks
- Assist in building a culture of constructive debate and conversations with a virtual team across multiple locations
- Play a key role on complex projects, collaborating between legal teams within L&R and with business clients, as appropriate
- Coordinate, understand and synthesize legal advice from other attorneys within Law and Regulation
- Draft, review and negotiate moderately complex matters and agreements
- Deliver real-time and critical legal advice for emerging business issues, legal subjects and risk management
- Anticipate legal concerns and provide creative problem solving in a dynamic business environment
- Advise business partners on emerging business issues, legal subjects and risk management
- Conduct complex research to determine applicable and pertinent laws, statutes, regulations, rules and other legal authority
- Play a key role in executing strategy, action planning, and communication with clients and other areas of L&R
- 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
- This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 - 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
