This is a full-time, professional, technical position responsible for reviewing applications, issuing permits and coordinating work, including review and approval of engineering and utility plans for facilities or improvements proposed within the District rights-of-way; including review and coordination of requests to utilize the District rights-of-way. Additional responsibilities include interdepartmental and intradepartmental coordination, as well as coordination with external stakeholders, governmental agencies and utility companies. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Permit Supervisor.
Typically has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 4+ years of engineering, surveying, construction and/or right of way permitting experience. Interest in career development, including working towards a professional engineering license is desirable. A valid Florida Driver’s License is required.

Pay: $25.97 - $34.41 per hour
