Hubbard Day, a 1:1 ABA based school is opening a location in Chantilly, Virginia and looking to bring fresh energy and BCBAs to our new 20,000 square foot school. We are a rapidly growing full day alternative school program servicing children with special needs, including autism. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated BCBAs/LBAs to help launch our new program in Chantilly. This is an amazing opportunity to leave your mark on a new school in a well-established small network of best-in-class school programs already thriving in New York, Connecticut, and Washington. Our next opening is Virginia! Best candidates can lead by example and work towards creating and maintaining a positive work environment for our students AND our staff.
Job responsibilities include:
- Direct Classroom Supervision of small classrooms (no more than 12 kids total)
- Overseeing/Writing Behavior Intervention Plans
- Leading weekly or bi-monthly 1:1 meetings with staff members to review behavior tracking, data collection procedures, current data, skill acquisition programs, etc.
- Reviewing and editing weekly summary emails
- Coordinating visits and collaboration with outside providers (home therapists, doctors, etc.)
- Providing support to team leaders with 1:1 daily scheduling and finding coverage for last minute absences and/or other changes
- Supervision of BCBA candidates and RBTs and the completion of appropriate documentation
- First Responder to Crisis Prevention Intervention situations
- Participating in Staff Development/Staff Training
- Progress Reports: providing support during writing and editing reports
