OBJECTIVES
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas through results-focused strategies.
- Create and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives and market demands.
- Develop and enforce standardized sales pitches to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the team.
- Recruit, train, and maintain sales team members who fit the company’s brand and goals, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed.
- Schedule and perform quarterly assessments to evaluate sales team members’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Schedule regular training sessions on roofing systems, products, materials, installations, safety, and best practices to keep the team knowledgeable and skilled.
- Use analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team performance.
- Oversee mid-day check-ins, including photos of clean decks, project updates, Catch-All, lawn signs, and door hangers to ensure high standards.
- Manage disciplinary actions and, when necessary, the dismissal of sales team members to maintain a high-performance team.
- Monitor the use of company drones and ensure proper training and compliance among users.
- Ensure excellent customer service by keeping clients updated on projects and general information, and assist the sales team with complex situations and closing sales.
- Have a thorough understanding of the property insurance claims process to assist clients and team members effectively.
- Ensure accurate data and picture entry into the CRM system.
- Ensure the sales team follows up with clients at specified intervals after submitting estimates to maintain strong client relationships.
- Attend association meetings and events to network and stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
COMPETENCIES
- Skills in recruiting, training, and maintaining a cohesive sales team.
- Utilize strong sales and interpersonal skills to motivate, encourage, and inspire the sales team to achieve their best performance.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of residential and commercial roofing systems, including shingles, metal, tile, TPO, modified bitumen, PVC, and built-up roofing.
- Maintain excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary in all communications.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Excellent customer service skills, including handling complex situations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5+ years of experience as a residential and roofing Sales Manager
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb a ladder
