As a Field Service Technician in our Retail division, you will provide service for scheduled jobs, emergency repairs and installations on equipment such as scales, slicers, oven and wrapping station products and packaging machines. Most of which you would find in your local grocery stores and delis. You will be the face of Bizerba in your region and must be customer focused, self-motivated and possess good analytical skills. We’re offering this excellent opportunity to attend a 6-week training course in Richmond, VA beginning July 11,2024, for Bizerba to provide service for select locations ONLY:

You must reside within an hour radius by car or be willing to relocate. Upon completion of training, you will return to your assigned area of hire.
JOB DUTIES:
- Providing on-site repairs, installations, off-site remote troubleshooting
- Providing preventative maintenance of equipment
- Listen to customer concerns and communicate all job -related topics in an efficient and comprehensive manner
- Set up and troubleshoot both wired and wireless network connected devices
- Traveling to multiple locations (up to 3 hours one way) and able to work flexible work hours including on-call on weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. (typically home every night)
- Intermittently lifting 60-80lb equipment, and working in unusual climates
- Responsible for maintaining a personal parts stock
- Annual inventory counts must be within -5% discrepancy
- Accurate and consistent logging in ADP and SIS
- Closing out work order tickets on time with descriptive details
- Timely expense reporting
- Responsible for proper upkeep and maintenance of provided company service vehicle(s)
- Responsible for keeping the spare parts in new/sellable condition and safe packaging
- Responsible for the proper upkeep of company issued equipment including tools, equipment, phone, laptop, and so forth

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year technical school or college
- Customer focused, self-motivated, and detail oriented
- Must possess mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving skills to include both analytical and creative thinking
- Experience in repair and installation of PC based devices or processor-controlled equipment
- Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Familiar with TCP/IP based connections and other system bus protocols
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Able to pass a criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen
