This position is responsible for collaborating across multiple programs to lead the reverse flow of handsets from forward distribution channels. (I.e. buyer's remorse, dealer returns, retail stock balancing, EOL, etc…) This position will be responsible for the forecasting of these programs based on historical data, trends, promotions, and overall industry trends. This includes, but not limited to, leading forecasts and supply across multiple programs: warranty, insurance, refurbishment sales, and extended warranty. This position is responsible for all aspects of forecasting and communication/management of a supply plan with 3rd party provider. Other duties include ad hoc reporting, participation in design and implementation of forecast models, product lifecycle management, cost analysis and process documentation.
Responsibilities:

Facilitate and handle weekly forecasting process and meeting with 3rd party to ensure supply is being utilized most efficiently.

Work cross-functionally with demand planning team to gain understanding of demand trends and fully understand any gaps in supply and demand.

Communicates impacts of any supply shortages that could limit supply to support sales channels and warranty programs. Ensures forecast is shared/received in the format, level of detail, and timing required by all customers and supply chain partners with documented assumptions.

Creates and delivers weekly forecast review based on forecasting root cause analysis. Clearly communicates all affected parties and maintains file and weekly process.

Analyzes performance and trends, identifies opportunities, and risks, and proactively communicates to cross-functional teams. Including, root cause, MAPE, MAP, channel issues, and suggests process improvements based on root cause findings.

Implements the refinement and improvements of supply planning processes and systems to support business requirements.

Leads overall inventory budget and levels in accordance with departmental quarterly inventory level goals.

Ad-Hoc inventory reporting and analysis as needed to develop insights and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Develop insights based on data and develop business cases to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications:
-
2-4 years Supply chain planning experience.

Knowledge of forecasting, materials management, analytics, and inventory management required.

Strong user of Excel; SQL knowledge preferred.

Bachelor's Degree
