Position Summary:
To verify and document member's demographics, resend out members correspondence materials. Call and survey member disenrollment and document the outcome for tracking purposes and assist customer service phone queue as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Updating member's demographics, Send faxes to providers office, calling member to verify correct demographic, after receiving demographic update from provider/ member update correct information in EZ Cap.
- Disenrollment, Calling members that are no longer with medical group asking survey questions as to why no longer with medical group. (member retention)
- Messages for customer service department, taking messages when there is a high call volume in the Queue.
- Eligibility, looking up information for providers that pertains to patient information (ex PCP, Termination date, Medical Group etc.)
- Authorization, Assisting providers/ members with authorization status, assisting providers with referral network information.
- Mailing, sorting mail so that it is distributed to the correct location (ex Medical records for claims , Providers returned mail)
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $21 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- High School graduate equivalent.
- One years of varied, increasingly responsible secretarial experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows-based computer skills preferred.
- Well organized.
- Ability to work well under pressure
