Summary/Objective
The Maintenance Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the Maintenance Warehouse by assuring availability of the materials required in the Maintenance department.

- Assures specific quality guidelines are met and, if necessary, takes appropriate actions and measures to rectify quality issues.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Ensures inventory accuracy (accurate count and locations).
- Adds new materials to the warehouse by processing Inventory Material Requests forms.
- Handles warehouse mutations by processing material issue forms.
- Performs MRP (Material Resource Planning) to re-order materials.
- Receives incoming shipments from logistics and transfers into the warehouse.
- Sorts and groups materials in locations depending on type and usage.
- Tracks open purchase orders.
- Handles the processing and shipment of materials to be repaired.
- Follows all guidelines set forth in our 5s training.
- Other duties and responsibilities can be assigned based on company needs and skills level.
- Drive forklift to move parts in and out of spare parts cage

Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to walk and stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
This position operates in increased working temperature.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In order to meet our customer’s demands this role may be required to perform work outside of business hours including weekends.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant industry experience
- Proven warehouse experience.
- Global knowledge of (technical) parts and standards
- Experience with Microsoft Office, mainly Word and Excel
- Previous forklift experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Tier 1 automotive experience
