Review staffing levels to maintain operational effectiveness

Controlling cards and equipment

Responsible for the supervision and performance of the poker dealers

Development of staff, evaluating, hiring and training

Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring with reviewing and managing the department’s promotions and tournaments
-
Review poker room activities and promotional status with Director of Poker
-
Assists Poker Floor Supervisor/Greeter with monitoring and adjusting performance to local competition

Excellent customer service
-
Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees
-
Other duties as assigned

Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results

Knowledgeable of specified games and gaming regulations

Good public relations/guest service skills

Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment

Ability to accurately complete paperwork and forms

Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions

Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls

Complete knowledge of all facilities available to guests on property.

Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions and knowledge of all special events and promotional activities

Ability to maintain mental concentration for significant periods of time

Basic computer skills

Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Poker Room operations

Knowledge of state gaming laws and regulations
A Few Must Haves
-
One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a poker dealer or poker floor supervisor with a four (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
-
Technical school education in dealing specified games
-
Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
