Clinicians: Bring your talent, passion and experience to a paradigm-changing pairing of mental health care and medicine.
It’s well understood that mental health is one of the most powerful influences on people’s overall wellbeing. What if the provision of primary-care services truly started with mental health?
The Center for Human Development is hiring clinicians at all phases of career to be key partners in a growing, SAMSHA-funded initiative at our Park St. clinic in West Springfield: not just co-located primary care and mental health services, but fully co-delivered services. Mind and body cared for together via one integrated approach, in an innovative and academically inclined clinical outpatient setting.
Outstanding candidates will partner with our primary care provider(s) to provide assessments, treatment and care linkages and coordination in a team-based model. The role will be responsive to your interests and passions, with easy access to professional development, and flexibility to find your niche across CHD’s continuum of care and demonstrate excellence there.
Your experience in harm reduction, peer support and case management will be key contributions to the broader team of physicians, prescribers, RNs and peers. Candidates must be on demonstrated independent licensure track and comfortable with autonomy, while also enthusiastic contributors to a team that’s highly focused on providing an amazing experience to adults and children served—and to each other.
CHD’s 2,000 care providers across western Mass. and Connecticut find a way to bring health, stability, shelter and opportunity to people and families every day. This is a rare opportunity to help us make the next leap in our impact—apply today at chd.org/careers.
