The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking an energetic and detail oriented continuing education program reviewer, radiologic technologist preferred, to review internal and external continuing education activities submitted through ASRT’s request for approval service. The CE program reviewer will evaluate submissions for accurate, up-to-date and relevant content following the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® continuing education guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Review continuing education activities to ensure accurate information and content is consistent with the request for approval service, the ARRT continuing education guidelines, state licensing requirements and other certification agency regulations. Determine relevancy of continuing education content to ensure credit awarded is consistent with request for approval service and the ARRT continuing education guidelines.
- Assist with writing and updating department policies and procedures to ensure departments understand expectations.
- Evaluate and record personal credit documents received from members to meet the ARRT polices.
- Respond to member/customer questions to ensure clear and accurate information.
- Provide expertise in development of ASRT products and contribute to special projects.
- Liaison to other ASRT departments and teams to ensure consistency in information, process integrity and accomplishment of department goals and mission.
Successful Candidates Must Meet the Following Criteria:
- Associate degree up to master’s degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in medical imaging or radiation therapy.
- Ability to work independently.
- Time management, business writing, computer skills and critical thinking.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate political savviness with all customer interactions.
