The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations of the Escrow Disbursements department. Management of the Escrow Disbursements department includes internal staff as well as various critical vendors that provide escrow related mortgage services (property taxes, property insurance, optional products). The candidate will perform a variety of tasks and assist the department in maintaining compliance with investor/insurer guidelines, as well as federal and state regulations. The candidate will also be expected to frequently interact, brainstorm and problem solve with other members of management.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Manage team member’s work flow and daily performance
- Manage and monitor operations of critical vendors
- Research and resolve escalated issues timely
- Oversee operational controls and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Manage various projects and perform other relevant duties as assigned
The candidate will also play an essential role in acquisition due diligence and loan on-boarding testing and execution.
This role requires you to successfully manage complex operational processes, identify operating and financial risks, challenge existing strategies, implement process improvements, and positively impact the customer experience.
Position Requirements
Required Education / Experience:
- Experience: 5-7 years' experience leading management-level professionals who manage front-line team members
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated success identifying and implementing process improvements
- Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to monitor and motivate employees to reach and exceed performance goals
- Aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to confidently lead meetings and convey information
