General Description: The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and efficiency. This role involves managing staff, budgets, menu planning, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties:
Operational Management:
-Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, café & pool operations.
-Ensure consistent quality of service and products, aligning with the establishment’s standards and guest expectations.
-Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all food and beverage activities.
Staff Management:
-Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
-Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
Financial Management
-Develop and manage budgets for food and beverage operations.
-Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
-Implement cost control measures and identify areas for financial improvement.
Menu Development:
-Collaborate with chefs and bartenders to design innovative and appealing menus.
-Ensure menus are updated regularly and cater to guest preferences and market trends.
-Oversee food and beverage purchasing, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Customer Service:
-Maintain a strong presence in the dining areas, interacting with members and guests to ensure satisfaction.
-Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
-Implement strategies to enhance guest experience and increase customer loyalty.
Compliance and Safety:
-Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with health and safety regulations.
-Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
-Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes, updating policies and procedures accordingly.
Marketing and Sales:
-Collaborate with the marketing team to promote food and beverage offerings.
-Develop and implement promotional strategies and events to drive sales and attract new customers.
-Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive.
Requirements:
-5-10 years’ proven experience in team management within the hospitality industry. (Club food operations preferred)
-A gracious, friendly, patient, and helpful attitude towards guests
-Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
-Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.
-Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
-Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently.
-Routine standing for duration of shift (up to 8 hours)
-Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulation
-Familiarity with restaurant management software, e.g., Northstar Club Management preferred.
-Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
