The Jan Richey Team is seeking a Director of Marketing and Social Media. As the Director of Marketing and Social Media, you will play an important role in the organization by providing a broad range of communication and marketing support to ensure campaigns and projects stay on target. A successful candidate will be personable, dynamic, creative and have a good sense of humor. This person will also assist the owner, Jan Richey, with her personal social media accounts.
- Experience in the residential real estate industry is essential.
- Must have a positive attitude, be polished, professional, and creative, be a team player, outgoing and engaging.
- The natural ability to organize, prioritize daily tasks with minimal direction and multi-task is vital.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work with the Team Manager to coordinate day-to-day activities and marketing projects.
- Must have a strong understanding of various platforms and strategies.
- Manage branding collateral used for marketing, presentations, and advertising.
- Manage the team social media platforms by developing engaging content.
- Manage production of property videos, interaction with team members and videographer.
- Handle real estate marketing production, advertising projects, and assist with print media.
- Interface with seller clients (answer questions about the marketing program, prepare activity reports for social media traffic and marketing activities). Skills to positively interact with clients is a must!
- Plan, coordinate and oversee small events for clients.
- Content creation for email campaigns and electronic newsletters.
- Assist Jan Richey with her personal social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Work with Jan directly creating and posting content. You will also assist Jan with marketing material for her personal 501c3 organization for animal rescue.
- Assist team members with small marketing projects for certain property items, assist with their personal social media platforms when needed.
- Proactive research for marketing opportunities, ideas and implementation when approved.
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Produce written correspondence in the form of letters and emails.
- Problem solver, proactive and can anticipate what is coming next and being ready to take care of those issues/items.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience in Social Media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, LinkedIn)
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook), Keynote, Canva, MailChimp.
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) experience valued.
- WordPress experience valued.
