The Remodeling Consultant is a key estimating/sales role in our design-build process and is as follows:
- Provide estimate ranges for initial client meetings for kitchen, bathroom, addition, and basement projects
- Attend client sales meetings throughout the process
- Attend initial site measure meetings in design phase
- Coordinate with team designers, lead carpenters, production manager, and trade partners to develop accurate scopes of work for remodeling projects
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients, team, and trades for final estimate development and during construction support
- Develop detailed written labor estimates within estimating software
- Develop initial job schedules to be handed off to production team
- Research and familiarize with any new products used in the construction of residential kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and additions
- Work with engineer and other professionals for any structural aspects of project development prior to construction
- Support production staff with feedback on actual to estimated hours and trade partner costs
- Attend post production meetings for completed projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new trade partners as necessary
- Specify construction materials for residential remodeling projects and be able to explain the options to clients for products related to siding, windows, doors, etc
- Work within municipality codes for the development of residential remodeling projects and preparation of materials for permitting (permits secured by support staff)

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
