Your Role as an Registered Nurse: As an RN, you will be a valued team member responsible for ensuring that the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents are met in a timely and dignified manner. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the well-being of our residents. This position requires a current PA RN license.

Your Responsibilities:
- Report at the start of shift with a worksheet to receive shift report.
- Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel.
- Count narcotics with the off-going nurse.
- Administer scheduled medications in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Perform scheduled treatments, wound assessments, and documentation as per facility policy.
- Document pertinent information on residents, including but not limited to: 7-day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, incidents/accidents, and vital signs.
- Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders, and prepare for physician rounds.
- Regular attendance is an essential function.
- Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel.
- Attend meetings and in-services as required.
- The 11 pm – 7 am nurse is responsible for the neighborhood medication sheet re-caps.
