The Position Proposition:
The warehouse manager will be responsible for overseeing receiving, warehousing, laydown yard, and distribution operations. The manager will be required to assist with receiving/ distributing/ maintaining/ organizing all materials in the warehouse. Must have experience with pallet jacks. Must care for tools, and equipment, and assist in facilities maintenance as needed.

Manual labor work in construction.

Track and monitor inventory both receiving and going out.

Load trucks with materials.

Operate small hand tools and cleaning machinery.

Operate a forklift as needed (certification preferred).

Work in an outdoor setting.

Maintain in the shop/yard area to OSHA standards.

Order inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times.

Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging and discarding inventory that does not meet the company's standards.

Update inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with Supervisor.

Report discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft, such as too little inventory at last count.
Education & Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED is preferred.
