Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children with special needs, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other staff members in implementing treatment programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
