Job Summary:
TAG Repair Center LLC is looking for a Parts Manager to keep our level of commitment to safety and customer service! If you are knowledgeable in overseeing the performance of a diesel repair shop, have attention to detail, and manage inventory, you could be the right partner for us. To be successful as a Parts Manager you must be highly organized and anticipates the needs of mechanics to ensure that all materials needed for production are provided.
Essential Function / Responsibilities:
- Cleans organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
- Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers.
- Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Lead, manage, and train team while keeping in tune with our companies’ vision, purpose, core
values, and employee creed.
- Maintain inventory counts.
- Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager
regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Orders and installs replacement parts for machines. Order parts in advance.
- Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations — building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts.
- Plan promotions on parts that are for sale.
- Prepares reports documenting work performed.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Sell manufactured parts to clients.
- Source new suppliers that are cheaper or have better quality parts.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,300.00 - $2,000.00 per week
