Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquets or events
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in the food industry or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling
- Familiarity with banquet or catering operations is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or issues
