What will you be doing?
- Spearheading the development and execution of comprehensive purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Managing the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, while maintaining compliance and efficiency.
- Cultivating and nurturing strategic relationships with suppliers to drive innovation, quality, and cost savings.
- Utilizing market intelligence and analytics to anticipate trends, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities within the supply chain.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs and objectives.
- Continuously evaluating and optimizing procurement processes to enhance agility, scalability, and value delivery.
- Formulating and implementing purchasing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Overseeing the review, approval, and processing of purchase orders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.
- Collaborating with the legal team to negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to define clear requirements and specifications for procurement activities.
- Anticipating market shifts and supplier dynamics to proactively address potential risks and opportunities.
- Conducting thorough cost analysis, scenario planning, and benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identifying, evaluating, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers who align with ACERTUS's values and objectives.
- Determining optimal inventory levels and delivery schedules to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Managing vendor claims and disputes in a fair and timely manner, preserving positive relationships and minimizing disruptions.
- Documenting and maintaining comprehensive policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and transparency.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain management, with a track record of increasing responsibility and achievement.
- Prior experience in the transportation or automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in procurement software and databases.
- Proven track record of success in a senior procurement leadership role, preferably within a large-scale organization.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques, with expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
- Strong business acumen and market insight, with the ability to translate trends and opportunities into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in utilizing procurement software and analytical tools to drive data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire, mentor, and empower cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset and a focus on collaboration and consensus-building.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of procurement operations.
