GPD is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Dallas, TX office location.
Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, including, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for open positions, as well as assisting with the onboarding of new employees.
Typical day-to-day tasks include coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determine selection criteria, building applicant pools, establishing trust and partnerships with the managers, identifying potential “fit” through effective interviewing, and effectively administering the interviewing process to ensure a positive new hire experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle recruitment, such as writing job postings, sourcing, interviewing, conducting reference checks and offer negotiation.
- Establish strong partnerships with leadership team, hiring managers and HR department to assess business needs and establish recruiting strategies that identify top talent to target active and passive job seekers.
- Partner with internal marketing team to develop recruitment campaigns on various medias including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and staffing partners.
- Continuously develop professional relationships with professional organizations or colleges and actively participate in job fairs or networking events.
- May deliver presentations at colleges/high schools, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
- Assist HR team with new employee onboarding, ensuring process is engaging and that processes are followed and accurate.
- Ensure all screening, hiring and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Keeps current with market trends and demands.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or an equivalent level of job experience in a full-cycle recruiting process.
- 10+ year(s) of recruiting experience for an organization, agency or executive search firm is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various recruitment techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting.
- Strong knowledge of basic employment law, OFCCP guidelines and HR practices.
- Must possess excellent oral/written communication, marketing, presentation delivery, interviewing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company.
- Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills that thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
- Possess a strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), LinkedIn, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Ability to travel within the United States to attend interviews, job fairs and networking events.
