Who are we hiring?
As Senior Vice President, Human Resources, you will lead and oversee all aspects of the human resources function for the Long Sports and Entertainment Portfolio. Your role is crucial in creating and maintaining a positive work environment, attracting and retaining top talent, and driving the organization's overall success through effective human resources management.
What will you do?

Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with the overall business objectives. Identify and address current and future HR needs to support organizational growth and success.

Talent Acquisition and Management: Develop and execute effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract and retain top talent. Implement best practices for candidate sourcing, screening, and selection. Develop and manage onboarding and orientation programs for new employees. Create and implement performance management systems to evaluate and reward employee performance.

Employee Relations: Establish and maintain positive employee relations by fostering a culture of open communication, fairness, and respect. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.

Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate, and retain employees. Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures. Evaluate and recommend improvements to the benefits package.

Training and Development: Identify and address skill gaps within the organization. Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities and career growth. Provide leadership development opportunities to build a strong leadership pipeline.

HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment standards, and health and safety regulations. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Drive DEI initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive workplace. Develop and implement programs to promote diversity, address unconscious bias, and foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging.

HR Analytics and Metrics: Establish and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.

HR Technology: Evaluate, implement, and leverage HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes, enhance data management, and improve HR service delivery.

Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives. Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field

Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, including a minimum of five years of executive HR experience; sports experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Special requirements of the Job:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights (event evenings & overnight operation shifts), and holidays

Ability to monitor company communications and respond to time-sensitive matters with senior executives
