WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The job is simple, initiate contact with targeted end-use customers to identify opportunities for their business to save money on electric and natural gas costs by contracting a competitive supply rate with New Wave Energy.
To succeed in this fast-paced environment, you must be:
- A motivated self-starter.
- Able to maintain a positive attitude.
- Able to think quickly and effectively on your feet.
- The aptitude, and confidence, to converse with senior/key decision makers without worry.
- Good pace, pitch, tone, and ability to be natural and conversational, not scripted.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Determination to keep going in the face of rejection.
- Follow existing processes (and suggest new ones) to help improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Most importantly - remain calm while balancing a dynamic workload.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & INSIDE SALES REP REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required; some college preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and various other programs.
- Inside Sales, Telemarketing, or Call Center experience preferred , but not required.
- Energy experience preferred , but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
