Analyst, Portfolio Operations
Cambridge Associate seeks a Portfolio Operations Analyst to provide support of liquidity management of client portfolios and additional support of client annual audits. As a group that values collaboration and being a team player, the role will require strong communication, adaptability, and exceptional organizational skills. This individual will need to work across departments to find and implement solutions that will impact the entire firm, while meeting the reporting needs of clients and investment teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring client portfolios for liquidity management
- Complete and review reporting for clients and investment teams to monitor portfolio liquidity
- Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve portfolio issues to facilitate trading
- Complete and review packages to support client’s annual audits
- Leverage and grow working relationships with internal partners to find improvements to process and enhance efficiency of portfolio operations
- Adhere to and maintain procedures and documentation of processes; remain current on new or evolving internal processes.
- Help to identify opportunities to reduce risk and increase scalability of existing processes through controls, procedures and technology enhancements.
- Take ownership of your professional growth by seeking out additional learning opportunities, attending relevant workshops, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS with 1-3 years of experience in a corporate setting
- An analytical thinker with attention to detail
- Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund knowledge a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to find improvements and follow them through to implementation
- Highly motivated and the ability to re-prioritize when necessary
- Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to improve operational efficiency
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Power BI, and Excel; including the use of complex formulas in Excel
