Al-Maa’uun is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing peer recovery support services, affordable housing, employment training, mentoring, and food support services to vulnerable populations within the community. BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has a strong background in providing clinical services, case management, counseling services and staff supervision to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of the needs and challenges facing the community. This position will involve a combination of administrative duties and direct client care responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients while collaborating with other professionals to coordinate care and advocate for clients’ needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records including progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports keeping in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed of community resources for referrals and facilitate the integration of behavioral health programming within Al-Maa’uun.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives, building out new programs and improving existing programs.
- Serves as a representative at community events to ensure Al-Maa’uun’s presence and engagement within the community.
- Lead the development of our Behavior Health Dept and supervise a team of house managers, and support staff, providing guidance, clinical oversight, individual and group therapy sessions, and crisis intervention support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals with a history of incarceration, substance abuse, homelessness, or related challenges.
- Proficiency in addiction counseling, motivational engagement strategies, and familiarity with Section 8 housing assistance, Medicare programs, and child welfare services.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to effectively manage and support a diverse team of professionals.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices, crisis management techniques, culturally sensitive approaches, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction strategies.

Pay: $30.85 - $35.80 per hour
