Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans for medically necessary laser hair removal, electrolysis and wellness check ups.
- Administer preparation treatment for hair removal services.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about HIV/AIDS, STD's, STI's, PrEP and PEP.
- Assist doctor in medically necessary medical orders preparations, medical coding and unique medically necessary working.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
-Maintain standards at health facility to meet medical standards.
-Audit facility to ensure it meets public health standards for clinic liscensing as it pertains to clinic requirements related to Doctor and Nursing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience (ADN's encouraged to apply!)
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, dermatology, and medical terminology
- Experience in cancer screening, PrEP and PEP, HIV/AIDS and other STI's.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a positive and team building pesonality
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, cleanliness and time management skills
-Knowledge and experience in LGBTQ+ community, proper pronoun use and understanding respect of Transgender people
-Willingness to grow the program to increase hours
-Strong motivation and desire to advocate social justice against marginalized communities
-Centered in the desire for all to have equality and the same equity
-English/Spanish speaking preferred but not required

Pay: $34.28 - $41.29 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
