We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Auction Manager to join our team and oversee the auction process from start to finish.
Job Description:
As an Auction Manager at Montana Pickin, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the auction process, ensuring a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and organizing auction events.
- Managing the auction catalog, including item descriptions and valuations.
- Coordinating with consignors to secure auction items.
- Overseeing the marketing and promotion of auction events.
- Managing online and live bidding platforms.
- Supervising the setup and breakdown of auction venues.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Handling customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Analyzing auction results and preparing reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- No minimum experience required; however, previous experience in auction management or a related field is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the auction industry and market trends.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in using auction software and online bidding platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to auctions.
