Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our personal injury firm. This is a full-time position based in our office. Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues - Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions - Assist with case management and preparation for litigation - Attend court hearings and depositions - Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies - Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients - Perform legal administrative tasks as needed Skills: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents - Proficiency in conducting legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other relevant resources - Ability to litigate cases effectively and present arguments persuasively - Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously - Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed - Strong analytical skills to analyze complex legal issues - Ability to negotiate favorable outcomes for clients Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the state bar association - Prior experience working as an Associate Attorney is preferred but not required We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
