Job Summary: Funny Face Bakery is seeking a dedicated and organized Customer Service and Order Management Coordinator to join our team. This is an in-person position at our production facility in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions via phone and email, overseeing direct-to-consumer (D2C) email communications and order management, coordinating order pickups and deliveries, corporate outreach, and assisting with order packing during busy seasons. This role is critical in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Phone Line:
- Answer and manage incoming customer calls, addressing inquiries, taking orders, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Customer Service Emails:
- Respond to customer emails, providing information, resolving concerns, and processing orders accurately and efficiently.
- D2C Emails/Order Management:
- Manage direct-to-consumer email communications and orders, ensuring all orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.
- Coordinate and Manage Order Pickups and Deliveries:
- Coordinate and schedule order pickups and deliveries for both commercial and D2C clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Occasional Order Packing:
- Assist with packing and preparing orders during peak seasons to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Corporate Outreach:
- Research and identify potential corporate contacts for partnership and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or order management, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
