Job Description:
The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Nationwide Children's Hospital has a senior leadership position available for an experienced, fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologist with 8-10 years of clinical and academic experience to serve as a Vice-Chairman. Previous Vice-Chairs have departed to assume leaderships in several other anesthesiology departments. The Department provided anesthetic care for more than 43,000 patients last year. Forty-one clinical sites are covered on a daily basis. The clinical and academic missions continue to grow with clinical expansion of outpatient anesthesia, inpatient anesthesia, abdominal transplantation, fetal anesthesia, and comprehensive pain management. The hospital serves as the clinical training site for residents from the Ohio State University as well as ACGME and international fellows in pediatric anesthesiology.
