This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing order fulfillment for both wholesale and direct-to-consumer customers. The role will evolve to include project management responsibilities, particularly in automating processes through EDI.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Process customer orders and invoices accurately and efficiently using the company's order management system.
- Collaborate with the Fulfillment Lead and CFO to automate processes through EDI, ensuring a seamless transition for customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and invoices.
- Assist with data entry and order fulfillment for the company's e-commerce platform.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the supply chain team to prevent stockouts.
- Manage the return process for any unsatisfactory products, issuing credits or replacements as needed.
- Generate reports on sales, customer satisfaction, and other key metrics to support data-driven decision making.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in product sales and customer service.
Qualifications/Abilities/ Education:
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and experience with order management systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Knowledge of the company's products and their applications is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Remote work setting, requiring a dedicated home office space and reliable internet connection.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
Organizational Relationships:
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Production teams.
- Communicate with suppliers of raw materials and packaging.
- Liaise with company-owned and third-party warehouse locations.
