A Japanese company is currently looking for an Accounting Manager who is fluent in both Japanese and English.
The ideal candidate should possess more than three years of experience in management along with over seven years of hands-on experience in accounting.
The proficiency in using the SAP system is highly desirable for this role.
General Description:
Directs and oversees activities in all of the organization's accounting functions, which may include cost and general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and establishes and implements strategies for reconciling accounts and reporting financial results.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages daily accounting transactions, including overseeing A/P and A/R transactions company-wide, including checking payment receipts.

Creates new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies.

Develops and implements organizational accounting policies, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Directs the maintenance of the organization's general ledger and oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting.

Coordinates with management and other financial functions to develop organizational budgets and financial forecasts.

Finalizes all expense reports according to company policy.

Prepares company tax filings.

Communicates with outside vendors/professionals for tax issues.

Review customer's and/or prospective customers credit line.

Monitors company's cashflow and forecast a future cashflow to report to the management.

Processes A/P payment via checks or wire transfer.

Oversees audits conducted by external auditor and/or parent company.

Oversee and manage company inventory and assets.
Experience Requirements:

Japanese bilingual

At least (7) years of accounting experience, including closing month end books.

Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.

Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.

Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.

Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Education Requirements:

Four (4) year degree or equivalent. CPA preferred.
