The Program Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating the planning, development, and implementation of assigned programs for the Texas A&M School of Law Events Team.

Required Education and Experience:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Zoom.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous priorities.
Knowledge and experience in program and event planning.
Essential Duties/Tasks:
Program/Event Planning - Coordinates and assists the implementation of large events and conferences, including scheduling, receiving/processing space requests, vendor relations, and service requirements and deliveries. Creates, establishes, and maintains program files, databases, correspondence, and program materials. Works closely with the Marketing team to manage invite lists, build registration pages, and send electronic event invitations in line with brand standards. Purchases materials and coordinates catering and lodging for events and programs. Coordinates and maintains the events calendar. Coordinates responses to requests for events. Tracks and monitors event budgets. Reviews vendor contracts. Develops tailored experiences to increase engagement and enhancement of the Texas A&M brand in Fort Worth in support of the School of Law.
Program Coordination & Communication - Serves as an on-site events service liaison during events. Manages check-in/registration for events. Coordinates with facilities to ensure proper event set up and assists with set-up and tear-down. Works with faculty administrative assistants to process faculty event purchases. Creates program-related email invitations, registration communications, signage and other branded materials to support events. Meets vendors and coordinates deliveries.
