Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to children from infancy through young adulthood. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on various health topics
- Perform procedures such as wound care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinates for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Epic)
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
Experience:
- Minimum of [1] years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive pediatric assessments and diagnosing common childhood illnesses
- Experience in providing patient care in a pediatric setting, including well-child visits, immunizations, and developmental screenings
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology for pediatric patients
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Strong understanding of growth and development milestones in children
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with young patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:

- Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) from an accredited program
