Dallas based Systems Integrator is currently seeking an experienced BAS Project Manager to work in our Dallas, TX office. The right candidate will have excellent technical skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. This person must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a high degree of integrity, work independently and can analyze a variety of problems. The candidate must be a technical problem solver who utilizes their experience and expertise in project management along with their knowledge of building systems and applications. This position requires mature judgment and initiative. Time management and organizational skills are also essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, implementation and execution of projects assigned.
- Work with Engineering in developing project submittals and drawing package.
- Plan, schedule, and manage project timeline with the Project Management Team.
- Update, organize and maintain project schedule.
- Regularly monitor and report progress of the project to assigned Sr. Project Manager.
- Provide weekly reports to Management.
- Obtain, organize and maintain project contract documents.
- Submit project submittals for approval when required and manage the approval process.
- Proactively evaluate potential problems on the job and initiate action to limit negative outcomes. Convey to the Project Coordinator any discovered cost impacts or change orders/RFI's in a timely manner.
- Review Bill of Materials and submittals.
- Ensure the order accuracy of materials on Bill of Materials in coordination with Project Coordinator.
- Coordinate/Supervise installation with subcontractor and resolve installation challenges.
- Provide direction, leadership, mentoring and support to project team.
- Review, load and test system database.
- Check out and start up system, coordinate and direct project commissioning.
- Generate project closure reports and perform project close out activities.
- Develop and maintain viable relations with customer, prime contractors, subcontractors and trade personnel.
- Adhere to company safety standards. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
- Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Keeps current all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
- Provides technical support and basic training to customers.
- Provide technical assistance to all levels of technician and project management team, assist in qualifying and vetting subordinates with agreed upon technical training agenda.
- Available for occasional after hours/weekend shifts.
- Travel to customer job sites is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 10 years + experience working with HVAC and building automation systems or other as discussed
- Experience creating and modifying Gantt schedules
- Extreme familiarity with programming requirements for DDC systems
- Able to interpret blueprints, project plans or other technical documents
- Excellent knowledge of the operation, installation and servicing of peripheral devices
- Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills; able to diagnose problems and implement cost-effective solutions
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service
- Able to work with little or no supervision
- Good communication skills, including written and verbal correspondence
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to train at a technical and managerial level to success

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
