Our expanding affiliate company, Acorn Plumbing & Heating, has an excellent opportunity for a bright and energetic individual to fill a key role in our Newburgh office.
Acorn Plumbing & Heating services and installs plumbing and HVAC systems for the residential and light commercial market in the New York Hudson Valley area. Assist their service operations team by performing administrative duties including customer service, data entry, and more. Enjoy frequent communication with customers, vendors, and the field staff.

Job responsibilities
- Customer service, including prompt handling of phone call and email requests
- Contribute to sales efforts by Initiating customer calls for seasonal equipment maintenance and related services
- Accurate entry of work order and service ticket data
- Assist with bids and project proposals
- Work collaboratively with and respond to inquiries from co-workers
- Act as backup to dispatcher role
- Other administrative office duties as required
Job requirements
- High school diploma; some business training or associates degree a plus
- 1 – 2 years office experience; construction or service company experience a plus
- Pleasant personality with excellent phone skills and good written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to organize and follow through on tasks
- Must be a reliable and dependable team player

This is a full-time position in our Newburgh, NY office. Starting salary range is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour. Regular work hours are Monday – Friday from 8-5 with one hour for lunch.
