We are a fast-growing real estate wholesaling company in ten different states across the United States. We are looking for a Transaction Coordinator to work hand-in-hand with our sellers, buyers, and title companies to facilitate a smooth escrow process.
This position is not for the faint-of-heart. The Transaction Coordinator will serve as the glue between our 20-person team and is singlehandedly the point-person on all revenue that comes into the company. This is a high pressure and demanding role that involves lots of moving parts, conflict resolution, time sensitive tasks, and an on-call nature. Responsibilities:
- Handle 20-40+ deals in escrow at any given time.
- Being the primary point-of-contact between sellers, buyers, and our title companies once a property is in escrow
- Ability to resolve complex escrow conflicts in real-time, oftentimes involving making multiple calls between sellers, buyers, and title companies.
- Extremely quick communicator via Email, Text, and Call
- Autonomous; can work with minimal direction. Ability to handle most tasks independently, and knows when to escalate significant conflicts to the partners
- Obsessive focus on updating our CRM in real-time with escrow updates for every property
- Obsessive focus on updating and working through a personal to-do list
- PROACTIVE. Will keep track of numerous tasks/deals at once and proactively notify the team/partners about anything that is needed
- Create and send time-sensitive contracts in Docusign within 5 minutes of being notified
- Work with our Tour Coordinator to grant access to properties for our buyers once in escrow
- Comfort in consistently carrying discretion between buyers and sellers. Able to know what information to disclose vs not disclose.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator
- Someone who is VERY comfortable being put "on the spot" on the phone by buyers/sellers in real time
- Someone friendly and adaptable who can build rapport easily with property owners, investors, and title companies
- Someone who recognizes the importance of locking up buyers under contract ASAP; has a sense of extreme urgency for each property
- Willingness to follow up with sellers, buyers, or title companies—even multiple times a day when necessary, to ensure timely responses
- Technologically savvy and can update all our complex CRM's and systems with zero mistakes (we use Monday.com as our CRM)
- Exceptional attention to detail
Expectations:
- Available full-time, 10 hours a day
- Available on-call as time-sensitive matters pop up after-hours/over weekends
Job Details/Compensation:
- 1099 independent contractor
- Base salary paid biweekly
- Closing bonuses paid in real-time
- End-of-year performance review with goal of increasing compensation
