Senior Project Manager
Position Overview: The IT Senior Project Manager will report into the CIO and focus on Technology projects. The projects will mostly be Infrastructure focused with some Application related ones too.
Key Responsibilities:

Developing project plans, goals, and budgets. This includes charter, scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, change, risks, issues, resource management plans, and managing the plans throughout the project management lifecycle from initiation through closeout

Organizing and leading project teams to ensure successful execution of projects

Monitoring project progress and performance to ensure projects stay on track and remain within budget

Creating and managing detailed scope documents, reports, presentations, and other documents related to project updates and status

Maintaining project management systems to support project delivery

Involvement with project quality planning, quality assurance, end-to-end system testing, quality control, user acceptance testing (UAT) performance and metrics management, and quality governance

Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure successful completion of projects

Develop and execute strategies to ensure successful delivery of projects
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years of Project Management experience in a technology environment with a focus on Infrastructure projects, having experience with Application projects is a huge plus

Proven track record of successful project delivery

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Windows-based programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Vision, and Adobe PDF

Certified Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP a plus)
Local Candidates ONLY please, we are a hybrid work week, 3 days in our New York City office, 2 days remote.
We offer a base salary of $100,000 to $130,000 based on experience.
