Job Summary
This role requires an innovative and experienced self-starter with the confidence and capability to guide and shape a forward-thinking safety assurance strategy with multiple facets. Through proactivestakeholder management, this leader is a true business partner to key departments to drive strategic safety practices across the enterprise creating a risk based approach to safety mitigation and compliance. Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.
The expected pay rate is $57,000 - 65,000/yr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
-
Develop and maintain predictive and proactive QHSE metrics to drive resource allocation and
improvement -
Partner with the Field QHSE team to improve investigation program and ensure compliance with
QHSE procedures -
Drive updates to investigation techniques across the organization
- Analyze safety & security data collected and communicate information to senior leadership on
opportunities for QHSE improvement across the organization -
Provides data interpretation

Responsible for development, generation, analysis, and interpretation of safety, security and
other related data to identify performance trends -
Make recommendations to improve safety and security compliance in all aspects of our business

Support the QHSE department with project management as necessary

Assist in oversight of Emergency Response readiness at our stations

Aid in tracking QHSE commitments across the organization

Collaborate with operational leadership regarding QHSE trends and areas of opportunity
-
Be an agent for and lead cultural change within the business to ensure continuous improvement
-
Drive behavioral based safety initiatives through risk-based safety assurance and safety
promotion programs -
Prepare and maintain required QHSE records and reports, including monthly required
documents and preparing documentation for customer meetings -
Keep abreast of current QHSE industry trends, new legislative impacts and customer
requirements -
Work with stations directly to ensure effectivity of corrective actions for all audit findings or
external commitments
- Develop and facilitate project QHSE risk assessments
- Communicate lessons learned from incidents or other opportunities for improvement by
performing or facilitating: -
Non-conformity reports

Contributing factor analysis

Investigations of incidents, near misses and damages

Experience in QHSE role preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in QHSE disciplines preferred
