Outpatient Therapist (Substance Use Disorder)

Scope and Job Purpose
This position provides substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health (MH) outpatient counseling services, including diagnostic intake and ongoing individual counseling. The position may include supervision of dependently licensed staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Outpatient counseling services
- Provide SUD and/or MH individual counseling, group counseling to Skypoint clients.
- Maintain appropriate documentation in the electronic case record to meet Company policies and accreditation standards.
- Provide screening, including intakes, evaluations, assessments, treatment planning and crisis intervention to service applicants and clients.
- Coordinate with referral sources and ancillary agencies as needed.
- Maintain contact with other agency service providers to coordinate care.
Qualifications (Education, Work Experience, Licensure, etc.)
Required:
PC or LSW, LCDCIII, and experience working with the SUD adult population. Master’s degree in mental health-related field. Education and training in mental health and SUD. Working knowledge of computers. Able to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients, external care providers, consulting psychiatrist, other clinicians, and administrative and support staff. Able to exercise balanced judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions, and to handle difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner.
Preferred:
LPCC or LISW and LICDC.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
