Compensation: $72,000K – $94,224K Annually
Compensation Analyst
This position is responsible for administering company compensation programs. Evaluates and analyzes salary data, determines pay grades, and conducts or participates in compensation surveys. This position’s primary focus is on job evaluation, grading, and providing customer service on compensation transactions. Will provide guidance and policy interpretation to managers and HRBPs. Will assist in compensation projects including incentive plan design and documentation, developing of efficient compensation processes, development of salary structures and the annual budgeting process.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; CCP certification preferred.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in compensation required.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of HRIS software.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening.
- Familiarity with project management.
- Experienced with job evaluation systems, and performance management.
- Knowledgeable of applicable state, local and federal statutes related to the compensation function.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel to analyze data and generate reports. Knowledge of ADPR report writing preferred.
Essential Job Functions of the Job Description
Working with the Senior Analyst, Compensation:
- Participates in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compensation policy, procedures, practices, and programs.
- Assists in the administration of the common review process, and the performance review process.
- Gathers information and conducts job analysis to participate in external salary surveys.
- Reviews new and revised job descriptions, exercising judgement in the determination of job grade and FLSA status. Uses market data and internal equity consideration to grade those positions. Positions 17 and above are approved by the Manager Compensation. Maintains the job description log.
- Conducts compensation audits and special labor market surveys as required. May create and deliver compensation training presentations.
- Interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating salary practices.
- Establishes and maintains job codes.
- Provides guidance to HR Business Partner and managers and supervisors on compensation issues.
- May participate in enterprise-wide HR projects that impact the function, business, or corporation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
