Summary (Scope of the Job)
Responsible for performing routine kitchen trailer, kitchen equipment and building maintenance tasks to include one or more fields (e.g. small engine, electrical, hoses, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing, kitchen equipment, etc.); general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. Successful candidate will be able to rotate to a remote location 4-6 weeks straight. We provided housing, meals and per diem.
Current work is in El Paso or New Mexico areas, subject to change based off business needs.
Major Responsibilities
· Inspects kitchen trailers, vans, sprinters, and structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations using a pre‐established check sheet.
· Performs electrical, small engine, HVAC, tire checks, axle assessments, generator maintenance and other duties on kitchen trailers to include, but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures, kitchen equipment, hoses, valves, etc. using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
· Will wash/clean trailers for make-ready use. Will also assist the Mobile Maintenance Team performing minor plumbing upkeep in addition to minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
· Cost tracking of kitchen trailers and materials required to maintain equipment’s satisfactory condition.
· Order parts and maintain required documents.
· Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
· Must be able to work graveyard shift and flexible hours during emergency response.
Background Requirements:
Education:
· High school education or equivalent preferred.
· Valid driver’s license required
· 3-5 years working experience in small engine and facility maintenance.
· Experienced maintenance work on commercial kitchen equipment
· Advanced understanding of electrical, HVAC, hoses, axles, generators, plumbing and carpentry.
· Certifications are a plus
Experience:

· Must be able to work graveyard shift and flexible hours during emergency response. Must have flexibility for Travel (UNPLANNED) when needed for the business needs.
