Job Summary: Under moderate supervision responsible for sampling chemical raw materials, packaging and intermediates components, to ensure the materials are processed in a timely manner. Inspect production supplies; revise SOP’s and applicable forms that are related to your job function. Job Responsabilities
· Enforce cGMP regulations, Aveva’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Analytical Balance techniques.
· Compliance with Aveva’s Training Program.
· Sampling and perform an overall appearance inspection of Chemical Components (Raw Materials), Packaging Components and Intermediate Process Product, for Quality Control analytical testing; per relating SOPs and specification.
· Use of respirator and gowning protection.
· Perform cleaning of the sampling rooms, per established procedure.
· Write/revise SOPs and applicable forms relevant to the position’s responsibilities.
· Sampling of the in house Intermediates Laminates.
· Work with Materials Department to get correct discrepancies on documentation e.g. Certificate of Analysis as per the SOP and the Specification.
· Ensure uninterrupted releasing of raw materials and components to Production by sampling materials in a timely manner.
· Inspect and approve the incoming production supplies.
· Transport materials between the Aveva warehouse facilities.
· Understanding and use of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (current version).
· Maintenance and Manage critical functions in the ERP system such as running retests reports and critical inventory queries.
· Comply with DEA requirements.
· Detail oriented and Flexibility to perform varied tasks.
· Other duties assigned as required by Materials Management
· Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes

Job Requirements
· Education
o Associate Degree; or
o High School Diploma or GED
· Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
o Knowledge of personal computer and databases (MS Office, Word, Excel Power Point).
o Working knowledge of GMP procedures.
o JD Edwards knowledge is a plus.
o Ability to read, write and speak English, comprehend and follow operating procedures, in order to perform sampling, data entry. Must be able to present verbally and in writing information and respond to questions from the manager or from individuals in other cross functional departments.
o Ability to read, creates, and interprets charts. Ability to apply concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, conversions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
o Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Experience
o Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
o Experience in sampling of Raw materials and Components preferable.
o Warehouse experience is a plus.
